Algebra 2 is taught for students in 11th grade. It is the third math course taught in high school. Students learn to do complex sums, cubes, divide polynomials and solve equations. The curriculum includes math learned in algebra one. And the foundation is built on knowledge and skills. Students learn geometry, trigonometry and graphing of functions. Algebra 2 is basic maths taught before teaching calculus. It teaches students to apply algebraic reasoning to complex problems.
