High School Science Classes are for students between the ages 14-19 years of age. The students follow the biology, chemistry and physics sequence. Typically the sequence for 9th or 10th grade students would take general physics, general chemistry and biology. But, those students who are academically inclined, will take higher challenging courses. These courses would be AP Biology, AP Chemistry or AP Physics.
All sciences are interrelated and thats the reason why they depend on the other sciences. Biology in some way on Physics and Chemistry for Biologically occurring phenomena’s. So, taking science in High school helps students in taking college level science. It also helps them solve many physics and chemistry related problems. These two subjects are usually challenging for students who aren’t strong in Math. It develops their critical thinking and keeps their mental minds stimulated.
High School Science Classes need students to access quality lab equipments. When the see things under the microscope, suddenly it makes it more interesting and fun. Hands-on experiments, field trips and interactions will all help them discover which area of science intrigues them. Biology will teach them about cells, genetics, organisms and ecology.
